In 2025 We are going to Camp Woodruff in Georgia

https://www.campwoodruff.org/

You'll never forget your summer at Woodruff. With programs designed for maximum fun and achievement, Woodruff offers once-in-a-lifetime adventures for Scouts looking for a pure Scouting experience.

Your typical Woodruff morning is spent knocking out Merit Badge requirements at the class-leading waterfront, nature/STEM center, field sports, handicraft or shooting sports ranges. In the afternoon, Scouts will the have the opportunity to take on adventure challenges like climbing & rappelling, whitewater rafting, mountain biking, mountain boarding, Ga-Ga ball, interpretive programs, and a variety of aquatic activities. Campfires, movie nights, Vespers, and spoof badge sessions fill the twilight hours before taps closes out another great day of camp.

Located in the North Georgia Mountains, Woodruff's natural environment gives us nearly unlimited opportunities for adventure. And the renowned first-year camper program and quality merit-badge instruction means that every Scout will have the time of their life.

Other Helpful Information

INDIVIDUAL TRIP INSURANCE (Optional)

After the May 17, 2025 cancellation deadline, any fees paid are non-refundable. So if you are unable to attend camp for illness, family reason or denied entry to camp due to medical checks then your fees paid would be non-refundable. However, individual trip cancellation insurance is available through several insurance carriers. This insurance will cover all expenses of your trip including fees paid to the troop in addition to the camp fee, with no deductible. The purchase of trip cancellation insurance is the responsibility of each scout/family. No refunds or exceptions will be made due to failure to purchase trip cancellation insurance. For some insurance coverage, you must secure the policy before January – when the first payment is made. The troop is not recommending any particular insurance provider, it is your responsibility to assess the need. Again this is completely optional.
